nice level of detail. Looks really good. I'd say desat the red on the missiles, and the other thing would be harder. b/c you used your kit (which is really cool I checked it out) but it'd be cool if there was a paint scheme across the whole vehicle. That would mean re-UVing which probably don't want to do on this one. Something to think about on other kit bashing adventures. I learned something from your style, it reminds me of the way I work in 3d coat with the tinker objects (another kit) I didn't think about making as many building block shapes as you have in your kit. I have detail pieces in mine. But I see how it can work to have and use bigger blocks. Anyway keep up the great work. A good place to learn about design like this is Feng Zhu, he's got a great youtube channel fzd school with tons of video's.
thats cool! I looked a little closer at the kit and there's a lot of >4 sided polys which tend to be bad. Also the UV's look a little too auto UV'ed. Some game engines count UV slices as another vertex, so the generally people try to keep the islands to a min... if you were going to sell it anyway. Where are you going to sell it? Turbosquid or just off your personal site.
Thanks again for the feedback. Yer the UVs are a little messy and I did use a tool for uving some parts, but I never intended this to be used to make game models, If I had it would look a lot different lol.
I will put it on Turbosquid and a few other places, not going to charge much for it though. Its mostly a tool for people that can't model very well but have good Ideas.
