Back and front WIP power armorby *Avitus12

Digital Art / 3-Dimensional Art / Vehicles / Terrestrial (for land)

This has taken about 10 hours so far.

its power armor/mecha, its about 15 feet tall so its just a mecha but there is a human pilot in the body.

Its got a long way to go before its finished, I'm interested to hear weapon Ideas, and stuff like that thanks.

While hydraulics can work in larger machines, in power armor hydraulics of this size would be incredibly out of place. More weight than actual locomotion. Plus it would move rather slowly. There are people actually working on power armor today who are trying to perfect a substance that works much like our own muscles only stronger. Maybe something like that might be worth looking into.

love it. This one look like Tau Empire Unit so that'a make me love it more. You said there will be a human inside, I can't imagine how to sit in it because the size is just 15 feet...and the hover head gear that's mean it will attach to the pilot head. right?
on the back you should put more armor plate to cover the engine so it will help to keep it unharm from light weapon.
For the weapon idea, I have no idea what you really have to put in but it's heavy armor so it should be the weapon the can blast out the tank or a squad in one shot and should have only one side R or L, maybe plasma blaster? heavy machine gun?
Electric blaster? missile launcher?

or if you use light armor plate with booster on the back so it's gonna be high movement speed unit so I suggest close combat on one hand with a shield, maybe light metal plate or plasma shield...or maybe close combat and one hand gun for small fire power effective with infantry unit.

that's all I can think about right now, love to see when it's finished.

I'm fairly shore its going to have a railgun on each shoulder and I'm building it in 3ds max.

When I first saw this I immediately went 'tau'. Were they an inspiration? Assuming the human pilot is in the core of the body, I'd say maybe put some extra amour plates there to emphasis that, but this is just an opinion. Weapons...everywhere and anywhere seems appropriate. Perhaps add in modular docks so the suit could be kitted out for various roles?
